Unbeknownst to icarus, his little brother followed him, calling his name and trying to keep up and get him back home. Before long huritau lost sight and smell of his brother as the rain thundered in and as he turned to get home and get their mother, he realized he was lost. The little wyngling recognized nothing of his surroundings and he had been so busy trying to get to his brother, that he hadn't bothered to be aware of his surroundings. For once he felt scared and alone and to get out of the rain, he ducked into a bush, curling up and crying, hoping to be found if he stayed where he was.

Meanwhile, baste had dropped off razzberry and rad at the nook and gotten help, wandering through the forest, calling the names of her two lost sons at the top of her lungs. In all honesty she had never felt this worried or scared before. She didn't know where they were and she was worried they'd get sick, injured or kidnapped or something. She felt some sense of reassuring by having others help her find them, her adult son searching from the air and her friend right behind her, giving her extra eyes to find her precious children.
